We are hiring!
Open postions in our hyperpolarization group led by Prof. Jan-Bernd Hövener:
- Group leader / PostDoc / senior scientist to work on "Human translation of hyperpolarized 129Xenon MRI"
- Group leader / PostDoc / senior scientist to work on "Human translation of hyperpolarized 13C MRI"
- Technologist / MTA-R, MRI and multimodal imaging for preclinical studies
In our lab, we have a variety of state-of the-art equipment:
- 7T, 9.4 T Bruker (2020)
- 1.5 T, 3 T Siemens (2022)
- Polaris SEOP polarizer (2021) (+ SpinAlinger DNP (2021) + PHIP)
Our group:
- 10+ colleagues in hyperpolarization
- 30+ colleagues total in imaging
- 15+ years’ experience in hyperpolarization
- 10+ nationalities
- Interesting local and international collaborations (chemistry, technology, etc)
Infrastructure:
- 2nd largest university medical center in Germany – lots of patients
- Dedicated animal imaging facilities: MRI CT US PA Optical
- New research building with dedicated hyperpolarization suite being constructed
- Funded program for human translation (13C and 129Xe)
