Kolja Them works on the development of new experimental and theoretical methods for hyperpolarization in NMR and MRI.
He studied physics and completed professional training as a CTA. His diploma thesis was on quantum field theory in curved space-time.
His PhD was on the development of methods for calculating the quantum spin dynamics of experimentally investigated systems.
He did a three-year postdoc at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf on biomedical and molecular imaging of stem cells and tumor markers using magnetic nanoparticles.
Kolja Them has been working at MOIN CC since November 2019.
